7/9/10 Todd is on the move at the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce - Todd's first week in review:Todd Shimkus started with a busy week of meeting with staff, attending the Young Professionals Network at Olde Bryan Inn, the Murphy luncheon on Wednesday at Gideon Putnam Hotel & Conference Center, he also attended the Saratoga Downtown meeting on Wednesday and his first Chamber board meeting was Thursday. 7/2/10 The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce has petitioned state legislators to take action on three concerns it has regarding proposed legislation that would allow table games at racinos across the state.
6/30/10 Giveaways Announced!! All giveaways are free with each paid admission, while supplies last. Want more than one giveaway? Head to the multiple admissions booth, which is located inside the gates near the NYRA Store (Saratoga Skills) on the first floor grandstand. Here you can purchase up to 5 additional admission coupons at $3 each, which can be redeemed for additional giveaways. NOTE: Again this year, Saratoga Race Course will offer "spinner-free" service at the East Avenue admission gate – a dedicated turnstile specifically for patrons who want to avoid the potentially lengthy lines on giveaway days. 6/30/10 "Ask Me I'm A Local" button now available. The Saratoga County Chamber has initiated a program to help visitors in need of information about the area when they arrive in Saratoga County. "Ask Me" buttons can be obtained at local banks throughout the County. Pick up a button, wear it and show visitors what a friendly city we live in. When they see you wearing the button they will be more apt to ask directions or where to find a good restaurant or for a good tip on the ponies! To view button click here.
